Coronavirus Update

The Columbus Blue Jackets are resuming the remainder of their 2019-2020 season in the NHL “bubble,” located in Toronto, ON. The “bubble” is intended to keep NHL staff, players, and their families safe from complications related to COVID-19, and does not permit fan attendance at games. The Columbus Blue Jackets compete in the Central Division of the National Hockey League. Although they have only been around since 2000, they have quickly become one of the most well liked teams in the league. This is evident by the number of fans who have quickly begun to follow the franchise in such a short period of time.

The Blue Jackets play their home games at Nationwide Arena. This is one of the newer venues in the league, and has gone a long way in drawing thousands of fans to each home game over the years. If you are a Blue Jackets fan you should be proud of the arena that you and your team can call home!

Many great players have worn the Blue Jackets jersey since the team started playing a few years ago. Some of the best include Rick Nash, David Vyborny, and Nikolai Zherdev among many others.

As you can see, the Blue Jackets are still a very young franchise. As the years go by they will have the chance to sign new players, and begin to build a team that will compete for the division title year in and year out.
